WordPress Design & Development

A platform that works as hard as you do.

A platform built to your business, not a template customised for it. We design, build and launch WordPress sites that load fast, rank well, and give you full control of your content – without a developer on speed dial.

Why this matters

Your website is your hardest-working employee.

It's working 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If it's slow, confusing, or difficult to update, it's costing you leads every single day.

Your site is slower than your competitors

A one-second delay costs you 7% of conversions. Most WordPress sites are bloated with plugins, unoptimised images, and unused code. We build lean from the start.

You can't update it without breaking something

A good WordPress build means your team can update content, add pages, and change images without needing a developer every time. We build to hand over cleanly.

Compliance and accessibility are an afterthought

If you're in a regulated sector or serve the public sector, WCAG accessibility isn't optional. We build to standard and document it - so you're covered.

From the founder

Every site I build gets the same attention I gave to platforms at The People's Pension - where the regulatory bar was high, the performance expectations were higher, and there was no room for shortcuts. That standard doesn't change based on the size of your budget.

Questions

What people ask about WordPress builds.

What platform do you build on?

WordPress with Elementor Pro, ACF Pro, and Dynamic.ooo for dynamic content. WPCodeBox 2 for custom snippets. Rank Math Pro for SEO. All licences included in your build.

Will I be able to update it myself?

Yes — that's a core design principle. We build every site so a non-technical person can update content, add pages, and change images. You'll get a handover video and documentation.

Do you handle hosting?

We offer managed WordPress hosting from £85/month which includes all plugin licences. We can also configure your existing hosting - but managed hosting means we handle updates, backups, and security.

What about after the site launches?

We offer Basic (£150/month) and Plus (£325/month) Care Plans covering ongoing maintenance, updates, backups, and support hours. Most clients roll onto a plan post-launch.

Do you write the copy for my site?

Not as standard - most clients either write their own copy or bring a copywriter into the project. We'll give you a clear wireframe showing what each section needs to say and roughly how much space it has, so you're not staring at a blank page. If you'd rather outsource the writing, we can recommend a copywriter we've worked with before, or include copywriting as a costed add-on from the start.

How is this Launch option different from a VIP Day?

The Launch tier is a traditional project with a 1-week timeline - we do the work, you review drafts, we refine and launch. A VIP Day is an 8-hour live build where we work alongside you in real time. Same price, different experience: choose Launch if you'd rather provide input asynchronously; choose VIP Day if you want to compress the whole thing into a single focused day with live collaboration.

Let's build something worth owning.
